As a metal artist, my canvas begins with sheets of silver and gold. Precious metal wire is added, and nature provides beautiful gemstones. The wonder of skilled creation is that the work is perceived as effortless perfection.

Journeys in my life seem to always bring the inspiration that is a path to a new direction in my work. While traveling around the world for shoots as a commercial model, I was intrigued with the architectural elements on old buildings. At one point I believed I would study architecture, but rendering a drawing wasn’t enough.

The desire to construct by hand and the call to metal led me to Parsons School of Design and to studies with master jewelers to develop skills I needed to create what I imagined. As a metalsmith, I now have the skills to interpret the intriguing features and elements of ancient buildings into my work.

In 1992 I began as a small production business that grew to several hundred gallery and catalog accounts worldwide. My current body of work includes fabrication, granulation, acid etching, and reticulation of gold and sterling silver and has expanded to include colored gemstones and a plethora of raw natural stones.

During my exploration I fell in love with the movement, patterns, and richness in texture that various methods bring to every piece. What has been wonderful for me to see is that my pieces appeal to and are purchased by women of all different ages. I feel I have created a unique and timeless quality that goes beyond trends.
