I love color, vibrancy and bold design. These things ignite my soul and fuel my spirit.
Whether it’s a crimson sunset, a bold runway ensemble or a fresh sprig of basil on a balsamic glazed Caprese salad, my passion is in transforming everyday objects into innovative glass designs through sensory observation, imagination and meticulous technique.
I’ve worked in painting, drawing and ceramics, but fused glass is the single medium that allows me to fully express my unbridled creativity.
My positive, energetic outlook on life is infused into everything I create, and color is the life force that unlocks that expression. Color means passion to me and informs my approach to both life and art. My work speaks to the joy and exuberance I feel in my everyday surroundings and community.
There is nothing more exciting to me than watching someone connect with my work. Art enriches the soul and can magically turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Every piece I create tells a story. When someone engages with my work and taps into my colorful outlook on life, I want them to be able to bring my creations into their home or office and share it with friends and family.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my art is creating commissioned pieces. I enjoy walking into a client’s space, breathing in its energy, and interpreting the room and the client’s dreams and ideas into a one-of-a-kind glass creation.
Spending time with someone in their own personal surroundings informs so much about who they are. When you combine that with chosen color palettes and a unique design sense, you have the gift of creating art that truly reflects someone’s individual style and spirit.
Whether I’m delivering a vase, home décor elements, or a series of panels that cover an entire wall, there is nothing more gratifying than surpassing a client’s expectations. You see that excitement and joy on someone’s face, and you know you’ve brightened their life and surroundings with art that you created.
Those moments of shared joy fuel my motivation and remind me that I’m on the right path.
