“Bouquet” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 18” x 24”
Creating abstract and industrial design truly brings joy and comfort to me. I can escape into a world of color, lines and formation.

“City Bridge” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 24” x 18”
Watercolor, ink and colored pencil are my choice of media. When I place my pen to the paper, something exciting, raw and beautiful happens. My work sets me free from the everyday path of life.

“Color Tree” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 18” x 24”
I was born and raised in Redford Township, Michigan. Even as a child, I was a bit too avant-garde for my kindergarten teacher. During a parent teacher conference, she advised my mother that I would never become an accomplished artist because I was too creative with my colors, and did not stay within her perspective of art.

“It’s Complicated” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 24” x 18”
My thoughts are that she did not understand orange or purple faces.

“Dazzling” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 18” x 24”
When I was growing up, like most artists with an initial fear of rejection, I became shy about presenting my work to others. Eventually, I just quit showing it to anyone, including my dear mother.

“Just Us” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 18” x 24”
It took me many years before I gained the confidence to display my work. My partner and my peers in the art community encouraged me to move forward and display my artistic talents. When I finally did, amazing things began to happen. My very first exhibit was at the renowned Studio 807 in Orlando, Florida. I sold several pieces, which was a pleasant surprise.

“Urban Power” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 24” x 18”
My friends in the contemporary art world have always expressed to me that when you sell your first piece, your artwork has been validated. I was invited to the Orlando Museum of Art, 1st Thursday’s “Florida Grown” events, and sold work there. I was also invited by a Central Florida Art Auction, liveauctioneers.com to present one of my works, which was sold and is referenced on the internet.

“Potion” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 18” x 24”
Recently, I was commissioned to create a piece of work for one of my art aficionados. I am so blessed that so many doors have opened up with endless possibilities for my creativity.

“Musical” Watercolor, Ink and Colored Pencil, 18” x 24”
I will never stop learning, always seeking to find new creative and eclectic avenues and frontiers.
