“Big Ion 4″ watercolor, 22″ X 34”
As a self-taught artist, I am unconstrained by traditional guardrails.

“Blue Right Wave 1″ watercolor, 22″ x 34”
My process and my work bring through the flowing healing energy of water and nature. Water has always been there for me, in times of joy and hardship. It is my balance and muse all at once.

“Two Fish Tales Play” watercolor, 22″ x 34″
My personal fallback for healing has always been nature. Diving into a lake, riding ocean waves, sitting on the beach, hiking through the forest. I strive to bring out this translucent yet powerful healing energy in semi-abstract watercolor.

“Some Day” watercolor, 30″ x 40″
In my process, I place clear water onto the paper with plenty of water and a stroke with movement.

“Party Wave” watercolor, 14″ x 14″
Next, I apply deep pigment on one edge of this clear swath of water and lift and tilt the paper, letting the motion of the water control the movement of the colors—trying not to control too much of the process.

“Fish Tale 3″ watercolor, 34″ X 22”
In my work, water is in control, moving the paint to reflect moments of healing, resilience, and freedom through nature.
