landscape oil painting

“A Warm Summer Day” oil, 16″ x 20″ by William Palm

William Palm

I create oil and watercolor paintings which capture the essence of my subjects, weaving their stories into vibrant compositions. With each stroke, I aim to evoke memories and stir emotions, hoping this will resonate in the hearts of my viewers.

Painting of flowers and a summer sky

“Summer Sky” acrylic on canvas, 36″ x 12″ by Alene Nitzky

Alene Nitzky

Painting the magic and beauty of nature in abstract form captures what I see and feel in remote places where most people never venture. It’s like sharing a closely guarded secret.

abstract figurative painting

“Our Lady of Spilt Milk” acrylic on canvas, 30″ x 40″ by Colleen Crotty-Good

Colleen Crotty-Good

There is a story being told at the end of my paintbrush. Sometimes I am telling the story and sometimes the canvas is telling me a story. The meaning of the tale flows back and forth through my brush like the ocean tide.

acrylic abstract painting

“Abstrus #3″ acrylic on cradled wood panel, 40″ x 50” by David Hathaway

David Hathaway

My process involves layering colors with palette knives, manipulating textures using household tools, and selectively removing paint. Techniques like splattering and scraping create dynamic compositions, balancing spontaneity with methodical craftsmanship for emotional impact and depth.

Floral painting

“Sun Touched” acrylic, 12″ x 16″ by Karen A. Kubacki

Karen A. Kubacki

My work is inspired by the color, light, textures and shadows found in tropical nature. Often my artistic interpretation ends up as vividly colorful and imaginative depictions rather than realism, and I embrace that.

“Sailor’s Soul” photograph, 14″ x 11″ by Susan Chamberland

Susan F. Chamberland

Nature has always fascinated me, especially water. When I create, I am sensitive and focused. I can see the image in front of me and the message I want to convey.

watercolor of a forest scene

“Tennessee Forest” watercolor, 17″ x 15″ by Cynthia Uden

Cynthia Uden

This watercolor was created this summer at the Nebraska Arts convention. It depicts the red clay of Tennessee, where I visited my cousins’ tobacco  farm.

White Tiger art

“White Tiger” acrylic, 10″ x 10″ by Sue Gurland

Sue Gurland

Growing up in the Catskill Mountains, I developed a love of painting and the natural world. I paint animals to underscore the interconnection of all beings, revealing their spirit through their eyes.

painting of two rock musicians

“Back to Back Rockers” acrylic, 20″ X 24″ by Gord Russell

Gord Russell

My journey from young artist to rock musician, physiotherapist, sculptor, and painter reflects my passion. Travels to Italy fueled my creativity, leading to awards and a unique style capturing live musicians, inspiring aspiring artists and evoking nostalgia.

painting of a jaguar

“Jaguar in the Jungle” oilcolor on green velvet, 50 x 60cm by Claudia Luethi

Claudia Luethi (alias Abdelghafar)

I love bright colours. I began painting oil on velvet in 2006. This technique is rare and time-consuming. I like to play with the velvet and include its structure into the painting.

painting of a pomegranate

“Peaceful Pomegranate on a Background of Pomegranate Flowers” oil painting by Tanya Shark

Tanya Shark

The image of this pomegranate signifies the peaceful coexistence of different multifaceted personalities in the world.

Zebra design fiber art made with New Zealand wool by Rebecca Robbie

Rebecca Robbie

I create textured wool art using hand-dyed wool filling, inspired by abstract images like animal prints, floral patterns, and designs that compliment modern home interiors. Each piece is custom-made to bring warmth and texture to your space.

oval acrylic landscape painting of Lake Tahoe

“Reflections of Lake Tahoe’s Tranquility” acrylic, 16″ x 20″ by Sue Alexander

Sue Alexander

Reflections of Lake Tahoe’s Tranquility is a breathtaking piece that captures the serene essence and majestic beauty of one of nature’s most stunning landscapes. This vivid blue lake mirrors the boundless sky above. The oval canvas cradles the imagery, providing a unique window.
