Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, my passion for photography started when I was in high school. I took it more seriously in college when I enrolled in a digital photography class. It opened my eyes to photography even more, and haven’t looked back since.

I purchased my first camera during that time period. Later I started using my iPod as another camera source to take pictures. It’s easy, convenient, and with the increase of technology I’m able to think/create outside the box. There are no limitations on being creative.

They say art imitates life. I have a great eye when capturing my surroundings. My photos imitate my surroundings. What I capture in the moment, I bring it to life. The photos are symbolic and metaphorical because they represent the essence of life.

Most of what I capture are objects and things, because they are just as important as people are when it comes to photographing subjects. There are no limitations. It’s not about where you create your art, it’s about the art you create. Create what can be manifest.

“Connection (The Continuation) #7″ photography, 8.5″ x 11”

My work combines elements of photography and design to create unique imagery. It is based heavily in patterns, changing images of recognizable objects to designing unrecognizable arrangements.

My work is a great reminder of the beauty that surrounds us and inside, and yet is often unnoticeable. It transcends simple photographic representation, diving deep into abstraction and metaphor. I hope to leave visitors with a profound sense of what life (the world) can really be like when they open their minds and eyes.

There is a message I not only capture in my lens, but through my works. I like to infuse different types of colors in my works, increasing the saturation for more vibrant and boldness. The themes of my work are self-love, love, relationships, self-empowerment, unity, freedom, liberation, fun, and mental health. I’m fresh, original, and unafraid.
