My artistic journey began in preschool when my mother enrolled me in classes at the Tampa Museum of Art. From that early exposure, a deep and lasting connection to the world of art was sparked. Though my life has taken me on various career paths, my love for art has never wavered . It continually evolves and shapes my perspective.

Over the years, I’ve refined my craft through both formal training and personal exploration. I work on wood panels, canvas, and paper, using a combination of acrylic paints, mediums, water-soluble pencils, and found objects for mixed media pieces.

Layers of paint create depth and mystery, inviting the viewer to explore multiple facets within the work. Various acrylic mediums help achieve subtle color blends that enhance the depth and texture.

At the core of my work is a profound connection to nature—both its tangible beauty and its metaphysical essence. I’m endlessly inspired by how shapes, composition, and color emerge in the natural world, and how these elements evoke emotions. The dynamic interplay between them excites me.  It’s this energy I strive to translate into my art.

My goal as an artist is to invite the viewer into a world that envelops them, a world where they can connect not only with the visuals but with the emotional resonance beneath the surface. I achieve this by layering paint and other media, building up texture and depth until the piece communicates my unspoken language. It’s a language that I hope is felt as much as it is seen.

During the turbulent times of the pandemic, I found myself exploring new pathways for expression, resulting in my current biomorphic series. The isolation and chaos of that period compelled me to seek relief through art. This exploration deepened and flourished into an offshoot series I call Lyrical Storybook, placing more emphasis on mark-making than the biomorphic shapes. The need for human connection during those days found expression in my art where abstract figures subtly emerged in these pieces.

While my work draws heavily from nature, it’s often a blend of the organic and the abstract. Intricate, biomorphic forms and lyrical mark-making blur the line between the familiar and the unknown, creating spaces where fluidity and movement dominate. It’s through this fusion of shapes and colors that I seek to transform the ordinary into something profound—something worth contemplating.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to receive international recognition and numerous prestigious awards for pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. Yet beyond accolades, what truly drives me is the immersive experience my work offers.

Each piece is a conversation, an invitation to explore new perspectives. This ongoing journey of self-expression and artistic growth fuels my passion for creating. It’s a path I’m committed to walking for as long as I can.
