My creative process links and consolidates both intuitive and conscience realities. My paintings and constructions do not attempt to imitate life realistically, but instead, encompass the energy and the essence of consciousness.

Within my art making process I surrender a degree of control, precariously dwelling within the factors of random and chance.

Consciously or otherwise, there is a nondescript tension that reverberates through my work between the constructive lucid realities, and the unpredictable and spontaneous entities as well. The two predominant elements within the body of my work pivot between my sensibility to color, and my use of depth and space within the picture plane.

Along with creating two-dimensional art pieces, I have been building three-dimensional works since I was at OCAD. My relief constructions are influenced by architectonics, the act of fabrication, and the juxtaposition between the synthetic manufactured sphere and that of the plasmic, organic elements of nature.
