I find inspiration in the beauty around us and in music. I weave both together with a spiritual aspect to every Dreamscape I create. My intention is to inspire others to attain their enlivening dreams.
I enjoy doing portraits and have worked with live models and from photographs. I want to capture the essence of individuals through their likeness, but also by integrating their stories into their portraits.
I am a prolific computer artist. I created advertising posters and book jackets and then branched out into my own digital art, including psychedelic pieces, jewelry design, fantasy pieces and wild studies of light.
I primarily paint figures in oil; I love the way colours can be found with various lighting on the skin, making it radiant, glowing or possibly bathed in light and colour.
Each handmade impressionist collage captures the simple beauty of the natural world and human experience. Made using recycled paper as brushstrokes, my work focuses on the play of light and shadows, depth and texture.
During the pandemic, working en plein air is a godsend. Studio landscapes like “November Morning” grow directly from the outdoor experience. My work is a compilation of centuries of heirloom oil painting technique.
I am a Swiss artist. My work deals with connections related to the human condition. What it means to have a clear path, how it feels to leave that path and discover the surroundings.
My paintings are based on memories of my childhood or moments in time that leave a lasting impression on me and inspire me to document them in art.
I am self-taught. My naïve paintings represent a child ‘s vision of this world. They involve complex issues such as climate horror, criminal injustice and armed conflicts as well as friendship, love and healing.
My Simply Human collection are abstract figurative paintings that attempt to capture human emotions. Not intended to be sexual or provocative, they stir an emotional connection with the viewer.
Art is medicine, not only for me as the creator, but also for the viewer. My work should evoke an emotional reaction that is uniquely personal, universally relatable and capable of altering the course of your day.
My “location” paintings show my love of solving the geometry and creating a sense of place. My aim is to share with you the joy and discovery I experience as I create and present paintings.
The monoliths of the Puruña Stone forest in Peru have always fascinated me. In this piece, I allow the spirit of watercolor to capture their mysterious essence in a fluid sort of way.
My purpose is to create artwork that comforts and encourages people where they live and work—to dream and conquer—every day.
I follow an inner vision to create figures and patterns out of paper and acrylic paint in my collages. My colorful compositions are inspired by “outsider” artists like Gaston Chaissac and children’s drawings.
I am a fanatic for magical light in the desert. I love the concept of the “Back of Beyond.” I start with an onsite study and then expand the painting in my studio.
Through vibrant colors and rich textures, I create paintings that are familiar but surreal—like something remembered from a dream. I create a world where you can climb in and get lost for a while.
I believe that good art should try to break the rules.
Currently I enjoy painting in watercolor, acrylics and oils. I love to paint landscapes and botanicals in a quasi-abstract form. Cropped images and graphic shapes seen in nature inform the brushstrokes on my canvas.
I always enjoy experimenting with color in oils, while keeping the viewer’s experience in my heart. My desire is to share the beauty surrounding us in gratitude for all we have been given.
My goal is to make a positive statement about how important nature is in our lives. Through my art, I want to peel away the layers of what I see and show nature’s beauty all around us.
The women in my portraits are both vulnerable and strong, conveying their emotions in haunting and expressive eyes that invite the viewer to creative their own narrative.
I have been creating polaroid art since the year 2000. I want to show the truth. I hand-edit and manipulate polaroids in a unique style that I invented and developed over the past twenty years.
My abstract art is inspired by nature with vibrant colours that emit energy. This painting shows the hope I saw for humanity as a result of nature flourishing and growing post COVID.
I build on watercolor landscape tradition with a contemporary expression of the genre, using negative space to create a place of refuge. It’s in this refuge that we can contemplate our relationship to the natural world.
Spring is sprung and this lovely piece in green and blue ink with a clear coat of resin exemplifies the essence of Spring.
My current works are monochrome photo intaglios, printed on an American French Tool Press, from original photographs by the artist. The themes include myth-making attached to objects and locations, from urban legends to Native American storytelling.
Thank you so very much.

David,
I like your painting “Road to Titus Canyon”. It does send you beyond your view of those great Mountains.
