“Picking Oregano in the Mountains Of Greece” watercolor and graphite on paper, 15″ x 22.25″

Attending Art & Design High School in Manhattan was a life changer. I was exposed to multiple disciplines in art, studying under masters in each field. Choosing to pursue fine arts, I attended Parsons School of Design and graduated with a BFA.

“Archway Monemvasia” watercolor and graphite on paper, 17″ x 11.75″

Art has always been a natural fit for me. Being an artist allows me to explore the world, and my place in it. I can hone my skills, redefine them, learn, create and seek a better understanding of our connections to each other and the world in which we live.

“Daphne at the Beach” pastel on paper, 19.5″ x 25″

My greatest source of inspiration comes from my family and the summer months that I spend in Greece, with its natural beauty, panoramic views and the extraordinary character of its people.

“Music Is Life, Life Is Music” aluminum plate lithograph, 11.5″ x 12″

I am a lithographer and painter with a passion for drawing. Drawing has always been the foundation of my work, using it as the main technique, in tandem with painting or creating a painting by using the paintbrush as a pencil.

intricate artwork of an archway at a castle

“Into The Past, Methoni Castle” lithographic crayon on matte drafting film, 35″ x 21.5″

Photography and plein-air sketching are important aspects of the process as they are used to capture moments and emotional responses to the subject matter. Plein-air sketching also allows for the spontaneity of line that is achieved through sketching from life.

“Morning View” watercolor and graphite on paper, 8″ x 15.75″

My art is ever-evolving as I push my artistic vision with each project. I am always challenging myself with new visual languages and concepts.

“Heart And Soul Of Greece” stone lithograph, 4.25″ x 7.25″

Creating art gives me a sense of peace through its meditative process. It is the intense concentration, patience and its challenges, that propels and guides each piece of artwork. It is the journey, the pursuit of ideas, of skills yet to be learned, that excites me and becomes my greatest motivation as an artist.
